This post is a little late.
We were discharged from the hospital on Monday, July 26th, and Harrison had his first visit with Dr. Finer the following day on July 27th.
His 4 day old stats:
Weight = 6 lbs. 14 oz.
Length = 20 in
Because he lost almost 10% of his birth weight after birth, we had to supplement with formula. My milk didn't come in until he was 5 days old, and I couldn't starve my baby. Anyway, I was worried that he wouldn't continue to gain weight, so we went back to the doctor on Friday, July 30th to check his weight again. He was back up to 7 lbs. 4 oz.; only 2 oz. away from his birth weight!!
He got a good report at his first visit, the first good report of many!! YAY!
